Fall Preschool Registration

Toddler Program

Our structured group learning program is designed to ease each child's transition from home to school. This fosters socialization and independence in your child. The Toddler program emphasizes social skills, and language and communication development.

Early Preschool Program

Early Preschool is for children in the process of transitioning from toddler to preschool students.  Daily learning experiences are planned to promote independence, enhance social skills and build the confidence needed to reach their potential and prepare them for Preschool and beyond.

Preschool Program

The hands-on approach in our 3 year old program enables each child to develop age appropriate fine motor and gross motor skills, as well as to improve communication and listening skills. It also reinforces social skills and introduces children to pre-reading, writing, math, science and other education skills.

Prekindergarten

Our teachers employ center-based activities tailored to meet the individual learning styles of each child. The program fosters growth, independence and self-esteem through accomplishments. Children learn how to make good decisions and enhance their language based skills which prepare them for successful entry into kindergarten.

Summer Camp

18 months to 5 years old

Our four week summer program enhances the school year experience. During the summer, the teachers introduce a new summer theme each week. The children then explore, discover and create art projects based upon that theme.

Each child care center, as well as potential clients looking for child care, may have their own definition of excellent quality. The process, rather than the product, is more important to us. We will assist children in learning, growing, and acquiring skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Give your child the education they deserve!

Our preschool offers bright, spacious classrooms with small class sizes. Each classroom will have a teacher and a teacher’s assistant, to ensure your child receives lots of personal attention! We offer a Pre-Kindergarten Program, a Preschool Program, an Early Preschool Program, and a Toddler Program. Your child can attend 2 days, 3 days or 5 days. We accept children from the ages of 18 months to age 5, or those who are not yet ready for kindergarten.

    Our goal as a preschool is to help your child reach his or her potential through a positive, and engaging developmental program. Bellport United Methodist Church Preschool strives to provide a motivating and nurturing educational environment for young children as they develop Kindergarten readiness skills.


    It is our vision and belief at Bellport United Methodist Church Preschool is that these early years are the first steps of a child's success in the future. Our environment provides many hands-on activities and allows preschool children to creatively explore the world around them. We provide activities and experiences that help your child develop a sense of independence, self-confidence, and self-discipline. Our preschool curriculum responds to the needs of the children in their particular stages of development.

  • Can you tell me more about your curriculum?

    The creative curriculum we practice covers specific areas through learning centers which are language activities, pre-reading skills, math concepts, practical life activities, science, creative arts, and computers. We use many resources to enhance our programs as the outside world has much to teach. We plan at least once per month for in-house programs.
